What to Expect on the Day of Breast Implant Removal Surgery
On the day of your Breast Implant Removal surgery, you will be greeted by our friendly staff and prepared for the procedure in our state-of-the-art office.
During the surgery, Dr. Papanicolaou will make incisions to access the breast implants. The type and location of the incisions will depend on various factors, such as the type of implants and your unique anatomy. The implants will be carefully removed, and any additional procedures, such as a Breast Lift or Tissue Reshaping, will be performed.
After the surgery, you will be taken to a recovery area where you will be closely monitored as you wake up from anesthesia. On average, the procedure can take anywhere from one to three hours.
